How much has Metta reduced the age limit to use WhatsApp?
Meta-owned application WhatsApp has lowered the age limit for using the app in the UK and EU countries.
Earlier in the US, this age was 13 years, but in the UK and other European countries, users were required to be at least 16 years old to use WhatsApp.
But now META's subsidiary application has reduced this age to 13 years for all countries.
A statement released by WhatsApp said the company is updating its rules and regulations and amending its privacy policy after lowering the minimum age to use WhatsApp in the UK from 16. It will be 13.
WhatsApp further said that this change will not cause any change in the services being used. As always, users' private photos and calls will be end-to-end encrypted.
