SAARC legal education conference to be held in July
ISLAMABAD – Ministry of Foreign Affairs and the Shaheed Zulfikar Ali Bhutto University of Law (SZBUL) would organize SAARC Legal Education Conference at Karachi in July, leading to SAARC Conference in November 2016.
The decision to hold conference was reached at a recently held meeting between SZBUL Vice Chancellor Qazi Khalid Ali and SAARC Director General Dr Mohammad Faisal at the Foreign Office here. The conference would be inaugurated by the President as chief guest while SAARC Secretary General, Sindh governor, the chief minister, federal ministers, HEC chairman, SAARC Law Forum President Mehmud Mandviwala would take part.
The Chief Justices, Law Ministers, Vice Chancellors, Bar Presidents of SAARC member states will be invited to attend the moot by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs. The prominent scholars would present their papers in the 3-dayconference on the topics relating to legal education, students and faculty exchange programs, creation of Universities Forums, Laws relating to Water, Energy, Arbitration, International and bilateral issues between the SAARC member countries.
SZBUL is first university of country exclusively devoted for Legal Education.
