‘134,750 Kasur kids to get in schools’

Under “Parho Punjab, Barho Punjab” programme, 134,750 children would be enrolled in the schools here, a district officer said during a ceremony.
DCO Salman Ghani inaugurated a campaign for the enrolment of children in schools during the ceremony. EDO Education Zulfaqar Ali, DO Education (Secondary) Kausar Perveen, DO Education (Elementary) Malik Ashraf, principals of schools and a large number of teachers and students participated in the ceremony.
The DCO inaugurated the campaign by enrolling children. He gave them books, bags and stationery. Speaking on the occasion, he said that no society can make progress without education.
“We have to educate our children to make Pakistan a prosperous country,” he added. He pointed out that “Parho Punjab, Barho Punjab” programme is a revolutionary step taken by the Punjab government to educate the children. “We have to work hard to achieve objectives of the enrolment campaign,” he added.
He urged the parents that the government is providing free education so they should get their children enrolled in schools.
Later, the officers of Education Department also threw light on the objectives of emergency enrolment campaign.
