Punjab education minister Rana Mashood resigns
LAHORE: Pakistan Muslim League Nawaz senior leader and minister of education for Punjab Rana Mashood has resigned from his post under immense party pressure, TheNewsTribe.com reported.
According to TheNewsTribe.com sources, Mashhood decided to resign after consultation with party’s friends.
He was in hot water the bribe video scandal was out in media, NAB had also opened an inquiry for corruption charges against him.
The party leadership showed the displeasure with Mashhood over the video scandal. He was criticised by CM Punjab Shahbaz Sharif over the corruption scandal.
The final decision from the party is yet to be made.
