‘Five special children schools to be upgraded in capital’
ISLAMABAD: State Minister for Capital Administration and Development Division (CADD) Dr Tariq Fazal Chaudhary said that the capital’s five special children educational institutions would also be upgraded through Prime Minister Education Reforms Programme. He said that the government has transferred these schools to the CADD Ministry aiming to renovate them.
The state minister said that through the ongoing reforms programme, five new buses has also been granted to these institutions for special students with disabilities.
He said that new teachers are being hired to meet the need of the teaching faculty in these educational institutions.
Tariq Fazal said that the teacher training programme to train the teaching faculty is also underway so that they can enable their students to face the challenges and cope with the changes in the world. He said that the standard of education in public schools would be improved to reduce the gap between public and private educational institutions. The state minister said that a “Curriculum Wing” has been created in the CADD Ministry adding that a building has also been allocated to this wing. He said that this wing is created to modernise the curriculum of the educational institutions according to the need of the hour. Tariq Fazal said, “Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif and Maryam Nawaz are paying special attention for the promotion of education sector and the journey of progress would be continued under their supervision”.
