No country can progress or face future challenges without modern education, Bhakhar District Education Officer Dr Malik Munir Hussain Kalla said.
Addressing the inaugural function of newly-established Beacon Model Public School here the other day, he said that the Punjab Schools Reforms Roadmap was a revolutionary programme for which all possible resources were being provided by the government to ensure its success.
Local educationists, teachers, parents, social workers and elites of the area were also present on the occasion.
He also lauded the efforts of private schools for quality education.
Earlier, Principal Rana Sanaullah, in his welcome address, threw light on the Beacon Model Public School. PML-N Tehsil President Malik Manzoor Ahmad Baga and social worker Ch Haji Rehmat Ali also spoke on the occasion.
