Corruption in education dept: Arrest warrants issued for Zardari’s brother-in-law
KARACHI: The anti-corruption court on Friday issued arrest warrants for Sindh Education Secretary Fazlullah Pechuho for misuse of authority, ARY News reported.
The education secretary is also facing charges of huge corruption and illegal use of powers while in office.
The National Accountability Bureau had initiated action in the Sindh Education Department after garnering evidences of huge corruption.
Reports were also going rounds in July last year that Fazlullah had been barred from travelling abroad by FIA for his alleged involvement in corruption. His name was inserted in the watch-list as well.
Pechuho is also a brother-in-law of PPP co-chairperson and former president Asif Ali Zardari.
