For the first time, the students of Islamabad’s government schools will have the access to the modern way of education – video tutorials – on campus.

The videos developed by Sabaq Foundation Trust, a not-for-profit organisation, will have lectures on concepts and their practical demonstration by examples for the better understanding of students.

These videos will be provided by the Sabaq Foundation Trust to the educational institutions under a memorandum of understanding signed by the Federal Directorate of Education and the trust.

FDE Director General Dr Moinuddin Wani and Sabaq Foundation Trust Chairman Iqbal Mustafa Khan signed the MoU and exchanged the relevant documents.

Minister of State for the Capital Administration and Development Division Dr. Tariq Fazal Chaudhary, who was the chief guest during the MoU signing ceremony, appreciated the initiative and said the introduction of blended education through video lectures would increase the quality of education at the FDE schools and thus, enhancing the learning outcome.

He said in the current age of information technology and communications, the access to information through technology was essential for every student.

“The Sabaq Foundation Trust’s video lecture programme is a very good step towards facilitating students in learning their lessons. I’m hopeful that such videos will also help teachers prepare their lessons well,” he said.
