Bacha Khan University Resumes Educational Activities
CHARSADDA: Bacha Khan University (BKU) has restarted on Monday education activities after five days of closure in the wake of the deadly terrorist attack on 20th of the current month which claimed the lives of 21 people and injured more than 30.
According to spokesperson of the university, condolence reference was organized at the university offering special prayers for the victims of the terrorist attack.
At this occasion, students have also expressed their determination against terrorism and reiterated commitment to deliver a befitting reply to the terrorists by achieving high standards in their education careers.
Parents of the victims, university staff and a large number of students were present at the university.
Meanwhile, strict security arrangements were in place.
Last Wednesday, twenty-one people were martyred in an attack on the university campus in Pakistan’s tribal northwest which was claimed by a faction of the Tehreek-e-Taliban Pakistan (TTP), barely a year after a massacre at a school in Peshawar that killed more than 150 people.
