Scholarships to be provided to orphan students in KPK
PESHAWAR, Pakistan: Special Assistant to Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Chief Minister for Information and Higher Education Mushtaq Ahmad Ghanni on Saturday said that scholarships would be provided to the orphan students who enrolled in BS program in government colleges.
Speaking as a chief guest in the first convocation of Government Postgraduate College Mansehra, he said students have to be an important part of the nation building process through their respective capabilities that they have acquired in their institution.
He said that serious steps are being taken to upgrade the standard of government colleges into model colleges and all demands and needs in this connection would be fulfilled.
He said the provincial government is fully committed to bring positive change in all sector and remarkable steps have been taken for the development and prosperity of the province.
He said that it is education which can defeat terrorism in the society adding that promotion of education was the first priority of KPK government he added.
At the end he distributed degree certificates and gold medals among the students.
He also announced to construct the Auditorium and girls hostel in the premises of this college.
