Special kids’ performance enthrals audience
BAHAWALPUR
Cholistan Special Education School, Bahawalpur organised a programme in connection with the International Day of Persons with Disabilities.
The event was attended by Corps Commander Lt-Gen Javed Iqbal and his wife as chief guests. Children enthusiastically participated in the event according to their abilities and at the end of the programme, the chief guests appreciated the school administration and faculty’s efforts. They praised their efforts and gave away prizes to teachers and students.
A large number of children are being educated at Cholistan Special Education School Bahawalpur in accordance with the modern facilities.
The school was established to educate the children of Army personal special children. It also provides assistance to the parents of special children in fulfilling their responsibility. It ensures the best upbringing of the children so that they can become useful members of the society. Mr Javed Iqbal praised the performance of the special children, and said that it was very difficult judge who was able and who was disabled. He said that these children are the assets and future of the nation. He also announced a donation of Rs1 million for the school. He said that “Kafalt Programme” of these children will be extended.
