Contractual teachers take to streets
HAFIZABAD
The contractual teachers who were recruited in the education department during 2011-12 have protested against the non-implementation of notification issued by the education department in August last.
Muthidda Mahaz Asatza Hafizabad President Riaz Ahmad Tarar called upon the authorities concerned to regularise the services of contractual educators without further delay. The said that the educators have already submitted their relevant documents with the authorities few months back but their services have not yet been regularised. They demanded prompt action in this regard to relieve them from mental agony and torture.
Meanwhile, a bike rider was deprived of his bike and Rs50, 000 while a medical store was burgled by unidentified burglars.
Shahid Hussain and his brother Hamza were on way to their residence by bike (LW0-850).
Near Mohallah Hassan Town, two armed bandits intercepted them and snatched away the bike and Rs50,000 from them at pistol point.
According to another report, unknown burglars broken into the medical store located on Madhrianwala road and made off with Rs20, 000. The incidents of burglary, theft, dacoity and bike snatching have been increased but the police have not yet traced even a single the accused.
