Strict disciplinary action will be taken against headmaster/mistress of government school found receiving papers fund from student in their respective schools.
This was stated by Executive District Officer (Education) Mian Zulfiqar Ali here.
The EDO Education said that in the light of the Punjab government’s directives, all the school heads of the province have been informed not to collect papers fund from their respective students.
But, interestingly, all the private schools in the province are collecting huge amounts from the parents in the name of papers fund, flouting orders of the Punjab Chief Minister.
According to details, all the private schools are charging paper funds ahead of examination. Parents of the affected children while talking to the media said that collection of funds from children studying in private schools is a blatant violation of the right of children Education Act.
They strongly condemned the illegal act and demanded the Punjab Chief Minister to scrutinize records of such institutions which are being run by “tax thieves”. “These mafias who, on one hand are looting the parents by imposing heavy tuition fees”.
and on the other, hoodwinking the government to avoid tax,” the parents alleged. They demanded the government to take notice of the rules violation.
