SAT TASK FORCE TO IMPROVE QUALITY OF EDUCATION
Karachi—Standardized Achievement Test (SAT) task force has selected results of top five highest and lowest scoring government schools to review and analyse their performance.
The setting up of SAT task was notified in September this year in view of downward trend in government schools.
A number of external partners and concerned departments are part of this Task Force. Thematic Working Groups have also been constituted to work over the recommendations on four themes, comprising Curriculum, Teacher Education, Learning Materials Development & Resource Allocation. The task force will identify gaps and recommend concrete steps to rein in the downward trend.—APP
