RE-OPENING OF ALL CLOSED SCHOOLS ORDERED
Thursday, October 22, 2015 - Peshawar—District Nazim, Peshawar, Mohammad Asim Khan has directed the rehabilitation of all schools, re-opening of closed schools, early fulfilling of the shortage of teachers and taking action against 3 MPO against those creating hurdles in the reopening of closed schools.
He issued these directives while presiding over a meeting regarding the number of schools, students and educational and other facilities available in these schools for bringing more improvement in their conditions. Those who attended included District Education Officer (DEO) Male, Abdul Basit, DEO Female, Ulfat Begum, ADO Male, Zia-ur-Rehman and ADO Female, Habibullah.
During the meeting, the District Nazim was given detailed briefing on number of schools, students and active schools in the district and also informed him about the future strategy. Addressing the meeting, District Nazim, Mohammad Asim Khan urged all officers to leave no stone unturn in bringing improvement in the standard of education, adding for this purpose, he is also personally in contact with the provincial government.
For guaranteeing the attendance of teachers and officers directed the installation of bio-metric system and guaranteeing the attendance of students directed the mentioning of attendance marks in the annual results. For meeting the deficiency of teachers and other staff.—APP
