Private schools withdraw from increased fee: Rana Mashood
LAHORE: Education Minister for Punjab Rana Mashhood Ahmad Khan on Tuesday said private schools have agreed to withdraw increased fee challans immediately in Punjab.
While addressing to a press conference after successful meeting with the officials of private school owners and Parents Association he said Punjab government had decided to conduct audit of the private schools to check their expenses and the fees increased during last three years.
He further said “Unjustified increase in fees will not be tolerated and those students, who have paid new fees, will be refunded the excess charged amount.”
Education minister said committees had been made to monitor the process of audit by the third party, this committee will monitor everything besides the overall fee as well as expenses schedule of the schools.
He commended Punjab Chief Minister Muhammad Shahbaz Sharif’s resolve to give quality and affordable education to every child in Punjab.
