Football stitcher clinches 1st position

Naveel Shah, a Daska-based football stitcher by profession, has clinched the first position in Humanities Group by securing 958 out of 1,100 marks in intermediate exams.
The examinations were recently held under the auspices of Board of Intermediate and Secondary Education (BISE) Gujranwala here.
Talking to newsmen at Daska, he said that he was a football stitcher by profession and had been supporting his family by earning a living by stitching footballs at his village Akbar, Daska tehsil. He said that he daily studied five to six hours besides working hard in stitching the footballs.
He said that he reached back to his workplace after getting the first prize during a special prize distribution ceremony held at Gujranwala. Naveel Shah wished to do graduation in humanities group, besides, wishing to join Pak Army. He gave the credit of his brilliant success to the prayers of his ailing parents and hardworking teachers. To a question, he had indulged in football stitching for several years while a Daska based senior educationist Zahid Malik and local people motivated him towards education. Then, he planned to get education and worked hard besides stitching footballs. He said that he was proud to be a football stitcher. He wished to continue his higher education, besides, wishing to join Pak Army to serve the nation in a better way and to sacrifice his life to defend the Motherland.
