Outdoor school serves under-privileged children
Monday, September 07, 2015 - Islamabad—An outdoor school has been continuing in Federal Capital catering to the educational needs of less fortunate children where volunteers were devotedly associated with the cause.
Number of children gather in the park near F-6/2, to get the knowledge at an open place where volunteers provide them quality education without charging any fee and the number of students belong to poor segment of the society was increasing by the day Ayub Khan a volunteer of the school told APP. He added that those children who want to get knowledge and were not able to afford the charges of schools, philanthropist made their life easier for them. Sadia Iqbal, a volunteer said “We all teachers want to make children educated, so that they would become the shinning star of the country and play their vital role in the socio economic prosperity of the society”, adding that, “We have children of diverse age groups to educate them as well as provide them with a bright future”. Faisal Khan a student of class 5th of the school said “I was very keen to get knowledge but unfortunately, I couldn’t afford school fees but this school was helping me more than enough”.—APP
