Theatre show in Peshawar dedicated to schoolchildren
PESHAWAR: A theatre show to encourage children not going to school and get them to enrol, was organised on Sunday.
The show was organised by a Non Government Organisation Alif Ailan in NA-2 constituency, which was attended by the said constituency Member of National Assembly Engineer Hamidul Haq, New elected District Nazim Muhammad Asim Khan, local bodies elected members and community people.
MNA Engineer Hamidul Haq said that provincial government was taking various initiatives for improvement of education.
He urged the parents to enrol their children as they are nurseries of the country.
District Nazim Peshawar, Muhammad Asim Khan said improvement of education in rural areas would be his first priority adding that he would visit personally closed schools in district. He said the provincial government had so far appointed 14,000 new teachers and would fulfil all vacant posts in schools.
Out of schools children participated in poems and naat competitions and also play different tableau in this occasion.
In theatre, the student highlighted role of education in society and showed how parents were willing and desiring to see their children get education.
