Edu termed only way out
NOORPUR THAL- Assistant Commissioner Ch Ali Atif Buttar along with DDO Education Sheikh Amjad Ejaz visited Government Boys Primary School Abdullah Khand and Government Girls Primary School Shahwala to find out ways to support educational institutions. The officers remained in the schools more than an hour and witnessed various presentations by students. Speaking on the occasion, the AC said that education is the only catalytic factor that can change the destiny of the nation. He said that only quality education could bring socioe-conomic change in the society and put the country on the path of development. Ch Atif said that provincial government was paying special attention to the provision of quality education at school level. He said that the students of backward and remote areas had especially benefited from these reforms which have helped in harmonizing the school education with changing demands. On the occasion, the DDO said that the Punjab government is committed to promoting education in the province and for the purpose massive funds are being spent on equipping every school with teaching facilities, furniture and renovation of institutions buildings. “It is the moral and professional responsibility of the teaching staff to put in dedicated efforts to raise standard of education being imparted to the students, he added.
