She appeared before the court Tuesday. Taj Traders had filed petition in the court that their company had supplied furniture to the schools, under federal directorate of education in 2012 and payment in this regard has not been made to them so far. The sitting DG is also not prepared to hear their plea. Our credibility is being affected being ignored persistently. The court summoned DG Shahnaz Sheikh several times, but she kept on evading appearing in the court.
The court sent her messages repeatedly on Monday that she should appear before it in person and appraise the court of her stance. But PA to DG Shahnaz Sheikh told the court that she was attending cabinet committee meeting.
The court issued bailable arrest warrants of Shahnaz Sheikh on Monday evening and ordered that she be presented before it today morning at every cost. Shahnaz Sheikh should appear in the court on Tuesday and provide evidence in support of her participation in cabinet committee meeting, the court ordered.
Shahnaz Sheikh could not provide satisfactory reply to the court Tuesday and could not provide evidence in support of her participation in the cabinet committee meeting.
