British paper raises questions over Reham Khan’s education
LONDON: British newspaper ‘Daily Mail’ has raised questions over the educational credentials of Reham Khan the wife of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) Chairman Imran Khan.
She started a postgraduate in Broadcast Journalism at North Lindsay College and did a 4 week placement with the BBC as part of the course
According to Reham Khan’s personal website she did a four week placement with the BBC after starting a 'postgraduate course in Broadcast Journalism at North Lindsay College' in Lincolnshire.
When the paper contacted officials at North Lindsey they said such a course was never offered and the college does not teach journalism at all. There was also no record of anyone with Rehman Khan’s name or age having enrolled at the college.
The Daily Mail could not reach Reham Khan for a comment.
The article is written by Sebastian Shakespeare, the same reporter who disclosed in January that Reham had married PTI Chairman Imran Khan.
In response to the story Reham Tweeted that "this morning is a great example of why I have never picked up the Daily Mail an why I don't watch Pakistani TV channels."
