Federal board admits mistake, passes terror-struck APS students
PESHAWAR (Dunya News) – The federal education board has corrected and reissued the passing results of students injured in Army Public School Peshawar attack after Dunya News reported how the board had earlier failed the injured students.
Reportedly, the board had failed 35 students affected by the deadly APS school attack in December last year for being absent in practical examinations. After the failing students took to Dunya News’ Peshawar bureau office and told that their practical exams were actually held ahead of due dates because of going to Umra on April 25 and even then they were shown as absent and thus failed in the results.
The parents of the students said that the administration had assured them that the students injured in APS school massacre will be given additional marks, adding that they were instead marked absent and failed.
They said if their issue is not resolved then they will take the matter to court. However, the federal board took the notice of Dunya News’ story and reissued the result after correction.
