No increase made in budget of education ministry

 ISLAMABAD: No increase has been made in the budget of Capital Administration and Development Division (CADD) and ministry of education  for the upcoming financial year 2015-16.
Citing to budget documents, media reports have said that ministry of education will have to face cut in budget over 36 percent and CADD 42 percent as compared to outgoing fiscal year 2014-15. However both the ministries will acquire ample increase in upcoming mini budget.
Rs 3.451 billion were allocated in the budget of ministry of education in the  financial year of 2014-15 for promotion of professional education and the ministry will now attain only Rs 2.207 billion in the budget for fiscal year 2015-16 in respect of 9 ongoing projects and 2 new projects.
It is worth mentioning that that government earmarked Rs 1 billion for education ministry in the financial year 2015-16 with regard to a disapproved project. However government withdrew this amount. -
