Rs 2207 million allocated for Federal Education and Professional Training Division in PSDP 2015-16
ISLAMABAD: The federal government has allocated Rs 2207 million for the ongoing and new projects of Federal Education and Professional Training Division in Public Sector Development Programme (PSDP) 2015-16.
According to the budgetary document issued here on Friday, the government has earmarked an amount of Rs. 2142 million for the ongoing schemes of the Federal Education and Professional Training Division and Rs. 65 million for the new schemes.
Out of total allocated amount for the ongoing schemes, Rs. 1036.096 million have been reserved for Establishment and Operation of Basic Education Community Schools in the Country, Rs.500 million for Improving Human Development Indicators in Pakistan with focus on MDGs relating to Education and six EFA Goals and Rs.349 million for Prime Minister's Special Initiative (PMSI) for Hunarmand Pakistan Programme.
For the new schemes, an amount of Rs 35 million has been allocated for National Curriculum Council and Rs 30 million for National Best Teachers Awards Scheme.
