Educational institutes, boards postpone exams in Karachi
KARACHI: The University of Karachi, Federal Urdu University, Board of Intermediate Education and Sindh Technical Board have postponed exams, scheduled for today (Thursday) June 04, due to tense situation in the metropolis.
In the communiqués issued here separately, the educational institutes and boards have stated that dates for the postponed papers will be announced later.
Muttahida Qaumi Movement (MQM) worker Waseem mysteriously died on Tuesday night in custody at the Aziz Bhatti police station in Karachi.
The MQM has announced two days of mourning with a complete shutter-down along with a suspension of business activities and transport.
