Pak-US Working Group on Education meets in Islamabad
The inaugural meeting of the Pak-US Working Group on Education, Science and Technology as part of US-Pakistan Strategic Dialogue was held in Islamabad today.
The Minister for Planning Ahsan Iqbal, US Under Secretary for Public Affairs and Public Diplomacy Richard Stengel, US Ambassador to Pakistan Richard Olson and other senior Pakistani and U.S officials attended the meeting.
The meeting focused on advancing cooperation, partnership and exchanges in higher education, science and technology.
In his opening remarks, Minister for Planning said Pakistan and US are enjoying good relationship and we want to further enhance bilateral geo-strategic and geo-economics relations.
U.S Under Secretary for Public Affairs Richard Stengel said our partnership is building a deeper and long-term engagement with people of Pakistan.
