Punjab University awarded 14 PhD degrees
Lahore, University of the Punjab Lahore has awarded 14 PhD degrees to the candidates of different subjects. PU awards a PhD degree to Shoaib Ahmad Siddiqi S/o Mumtaz Ahmad Siddiqi in the subject of Mycology & Plant Pathology. He is awarded with the degree after the approval of his research thesis.
The topic of his thesis was “Effect of Soil Solarization on the Survival of Soil Mycoflora With Special Reference to the Control of Chickpea (Cicer Arietinum Linn.) Wilt Caused by Fusarium Oxysporum F. SP. Ciceri Schlecht. Emend. Synd. & Hands. (S&H,M&C),” Zafar Iqbal S/o Wali Muhammad, Rana Malik D/o Salah ud Din Malik, Rehana Qureshi D/o Muhammad Aslam Qureshi, Shafqat Rasool S/o Ghulam Rasool, Zubair Ahmad Shah S/o Abdur Razzaq Shah and Mushtaq Ahmad S/o Muhammad Hussain Malik in the subject of Education, Muhammad Saleem Khalid S/o Muhammad Din in the subject of Urdu, Khurshid Alam S/o Sayed Roshal in the subject of Earth & Environmental Sciences, Syed Karrar Haider S/o Syed Fida Hussain in the subject of Physics, Ismat Fatima D/o Malik Muhammad Hussain in the subject of Chemistry, Khalid Hameed S/o Abdul Hameed and Muhammad Rafiq S/o Muhammad Sharif in the subject of Islamic Studies and Faisal Tehseen Shah S/o Muhammad Mumtaz Shah in the subject of Total Quality Management after the approval of their research thesis. They have completed their research thesis under the supervision of their respective advisor.
