The Punjab government has accorded top priority to the promotion of education as only education can provide solid formation for the development of a country. In order to achieve glory in the comity of nations, we will have to ensure provision of quality education to each and every child in the society.
This was stated by DCO Muhammad Shahid Niaz while addressing a meeting of District Review Committee here the other day.
EDO Education Nazuk Shahzad, DMO Muzamil Bashir and other Education Department officials also attended the meeting.
The DCO said that monitoring officials should improve their performance, adding that 100 percent attendance of teachers, students and other staff concerned should be ensured in schools.
He said that if officers of the education department pay regular visits to the educational institutions, the condition of schools could be improved within six months.
Taking note of poor condition of different schools, the DCO ordered provision of missing facilities in respective schools.
