Lawyers’ kids to get concessions in Rawalpindi Law College
Rawalpindi - A Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) was inked on Friday between Jinnah Institute of Informatics and Technology and Punjab Bar Council (PBC) aimed at awarding scholarships and concession in tuition fee to the children of lawyers in the institute of Rawalpindi Law and Commerce College. The MoU was signed upon visit of a delegation of PBC led by its member Faisal Kosain Mufti.
The MoU signing ceremony was held at JIIT. JIIT Chief Executive Pirzada Rahat Masood Qadoosi, PCB Member Faisal Kosain Mufti, Rawalpindi Law College Principal Shamshad Ullah Cheema, College of Commerce Principal Hamid Mehmood, Jinnah Institute of Informatics and Commerce Principal Masood Sultan Chaudhry, Jinnah Institute (University Campus) Principal Rizwan Khan attended the ceremony.
Addressing the ceremony, Pirzada Rahat Masoof Qadoosi appreciated the efforts of Faisal Kosain Mufti for the welfare and education of children.
He said all the Jinnah institutions would award scholarships to the children of lawyers besides giving them special concessions in tuition fee. PBC Member Faisal Kosain Mufti, speaking on the occasion, said that Education Committee of PBC has been working round-the-clock for promotion of education and soon revolutionary changes would be seen in the field of law education in the country.
At the end, PBC presented a shield to JIIT CE Pirzada Rahat Masood Qadoosi.
