Fumbling with students’ future!
Federal Board of Education is celebrated for its tricky and concept based questioning in exams from its elementary to higher classes alike. This system of assessment is popular among educationists but sometimes unnecessary modifications and alterations in main concept make it difficult to comprehend for students.
Same happened in Federal Board’s 1st year’s Chemistry paper on May 21. Inappropriately asked questions, with far-fetched ideas, left the students and teachers seething. Being a teacher of this subject, I also have apprehensions on paper’s components because the prescribed course was not followed. This is an unprecedented situation throughout my career, now even the most brilliant students were complaining against the Board’s fresh modus operandi.
Foreseeing the future of students in grave peril, I request minister of education, Engr. Muhammad Baligh ur Rehman and Chairman Federal Board to pay heed on this momentous issue. Revamped paper with new date should be announced for the best interest of students otherwise this could compromise our student’s future
