Education is necessary in our life because it plays a vital role in building a civilised society. On May 23, 2015, an incident occurred in which the roof of a private school collapsed in Multan. The negligence of the contractor during the construction of the school caused the incident. Unfortunately, 20 students and a teacher were injured. After almost an hour, the police and the government officials took control of the place.
The use of proper material during the construction of educational institutes is very essential. The government issues funds to contractors but instead of using that money in constructing durable buildings, they resort to corruption and do not use proper materials. They do not bother that they risk many lives for their petty benefits. Many school buildings do not even have precautionary measures to save children. The government needs to award such projects to only those contractors who have a good track record in construction work.
